mlp series: applejack

oh hai! maxwell render got an awsome upgrade wich features an improved hairsystem that makes it easy to create really good looking grass. im sure the ponies like it. the modell is from [link] i converted it to maya with working blendshapes and rigged skin. the plan is to bind it to a hik system and bring all the ponies to that level in the next weeks. ill keep rendering pics once i have a new pony ready. since the hairsystem accepts maps for the grass angles, i plan on bending the grass below and behind the ponies a bit more to create a small trail. materials for the ponies are still very simple and will likely be tweaked with some more sss and higher res textures. the mesh on this render is unfortunatly unsmoothed...i simply forgot to apply a smooth on top of the mesh. next one will have that.
