i got a new bandai hg-kit! hurray!!! i tried to get the "palace athene" since hat would be another personal gundam created by the great Paptimus Scirocco. unfortunatly i couldnt get it this time. instead i choose the AMX-011 ZAKU-III "neo-zeon productive mobile suite". its a mass produced gundam and should look great in scenes with him multiple times. i will model it completely in maya this time. then move it over to motionbuilder to get some animation done. you can follow the update process with this link http://www.krz9000.net/01renders/rss/?id=1 and some of the nicer WIP-pics will end up here at deviant in the scrap-book category.

since i made the switch from 3dmax to Maya the last month (mainly because of stability and performance) i have to wait for the plug-in for maxwell to produce any pictures. since next limit is a company that doesn't really like to communicate i am stuck waiting without even knowing for how long. word on the forum is that its anytime soon ha ha what ever that means. in the meantime i worked mostly on converting my max files to Maya. this job took quite long but also painless since the fbx-format works pretty well. at least one good thing regarding the autodesk-alias merger. i also tried to get more into motion builder to bring my models aliv
